Chakra Clearing & Healing
Chakras are energy centers located along the spine. Each chakra vibrates at a different frequency, and presents an opportunity to establish a root relationship that satisfies a soul desire. Each frequency is depicted by its own color, and the chakra system as a whole is said to form a rainbow bridge, connecting Heaven and Earth through your heart center.
Each chakra holds the gift of a certain power, which can enrich your human experience. As you awaken and tune into this power, you will connect with your soul and become internally empowered to deal with the specific life challenges of that chakra and, as a consequence, live a more whole, meaningful and fulfilling life.
Reiki Healing
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The energy healing system called Reiki was first brought to the world by a Japanese Master. It has since been passed down, Master-to-Student, for generations. The benefits of Reiki have since been proven through decades of research.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”
Yoga Nidra
Stress Reduction, Improved Health, Improved Sleep
Welcome to Yoga Nidra: An ancient, sleep-based guided mindfulness meditation practice that is now being used by corporate executives, military veterans, elementary school children, and the terminally ill. Many who have personally experienced Yoga Nidra tout its litany of benefits. And they are not the only ones: Neuroscientists are now proving that a single Yoga Nidra session can replace hours of sleep, and that regular practice can reverse anxiety, depression, PTS, chronic pain, and high blood pressure. The best part? The practice is available to anyone with 30 minutes and a comfortable place to lie down.
For This Practice You Will Need:
Space where you can be undisturbed, and can lie down (if possible) in order to get as comfortable as possible for 30 minutes.
Any props that will support your body – i.e. bolster under knees for tight low back, pillow under head, blanket to cover body. (Optional)
Eye pillow to shield external light. (Optional) I’ve found this really helps to turn our awareness inward. That idea of pratyahara – or withdrawing from external stimuli.
Love Embody Movement
The Embody Love Movement program has opened my eyes to the many issues young girls are a facing in developing a sense confidence and self-worth in our fast-paced, technology driven world. The program challenges girls to look within to find what is truly special about themselves.
Sometimes we have to break it down to break through. Whatever IT is, our patterns of thought, actions, or words, they keep us stuck and weighed down by their perceived power. It’s easy to start to believe the things you tell yourself on a daily, or hourly basis. But that kind of repetition just means you’re committed, not that your negative body image is valid. Nor is it useful. It’s not your body that needs to change, it’s your perception. You won’t get bikini ready, you’ll get ready for the life that is longing for you to live into its possibilities.
I’ve spent the past 3 years helping girls and women find unconditional acceptance for their bodies, and I want to share with you what I’ve learned. This is my passion because my own body hatred threatened to keep me isolated, silenced, and insecure. Until I broke through, and felt empowered to show up fully, in order to support you in doing the same.
